As human kind adapts to life on planets not its own a hundred times a hundred cultures emerge each moulded by the hardships they face. From the imperious and inflexible Apiro Empire to the bio engineered Vrill, no society transitions to the stars with its humanity intact.

Neo Plasia, a world of harsh realities which would require even harsher rule, is the backdrop to a brutal planet wide conflict.

Six moons surround the world, each far closer to Neo Plasia than the single moon of Earth, pulling tides of earth across the planet’s surface in the wake of their orbits. Its atmosphere heavy with clouds of pallid green pregnant with heavy gasses toxic to life. The population forced to live on colossal walking mining platforms known as Mitick Cities, ruled over by the authoritarian Tyrack and his ruling elite.

Thomas Elliott’s Eskaton

Earth is dead.

Their cradle soiled, the cancer of man has spread to the stars to cheat extinction.

Hundreds of worlds now host the human plague. The colossal distance between planets means colonies are lost as time buckles and evolution warps. In the blackest corners of this frontier beautiful and terrible things thrive. Nightmarish alien beings are discovered, then found to be man’s lost siblings, contorted in extreme and disturbing ways to adapt to environments not their own.

In this isolation, planets barely know their neighbours. Fear and superstition reign. In the void man becomes alien to itself. But it will survive, at any cost.

This is Eskaton.
